Australian Doctors Orchestra – “LARK” Sunday 9 October 2016

The Australian Doctors orchestra are performing at the Memo Hall in Healesville on Sunday 9 October to support the Healesville and District Hospital.

“Lark” a classical music performance in support of Healesville and District Hospital, part of Eastern Health.

Conducted by Warwick Stengårds, The Lark will showcase the musical talents of The Australian Doctors Orchestra, a group of passionate classically trained medical professionals from across Australia. This performance will feature Caroline Hopson as soloist in ‘The Lark Ascending’ and will include Beethoven’s overture to ‘The Creatures of Prometheus’, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No.5, Ravel’s Forlane and Rigaudon from ‘Le Tombeau de Couperin’ and Delius’ On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring.
