Dandenong Ranges & Yarra Valley Community Led Emergency Planning Forum

Community Led Emergency Planning (CLEP) groups across the Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley are invited to join together for a Free 1 day forum to share their experiences, hear from some fantastic guest speakers, see how the latest computer modelling can enhance your ability to connect with your community and showcase the great work your group is doing to make your community safer before and after a serious emergency. Throughout our region we have a diverse range of Community Led Emergency Planning groups ranging from those who are just beginning their journey to others who have been established and operating for over 30 years.
This event is a valuable opportunity to acknowledge and support the vital work being done by our CLEP groups and will be the first time CLEP groups have been able to workshop together at a regional level. We have allocated time during the day for groups to present their experiences at the forum and we would love to hear from as many groups as possible. We will also be having a shared advertising table for you bring along your flyers and marketing resources to promote your group and maybe pick up some inspiration from others!
Discussion workshops happening throughout the day will enable groups to share our learnings with likeminded people, discover innovative solutions to common problems and provide State and Local Governments with a more comprehensive insight into the importance of CLEP groups and the types of support and resources we need to flourish.
