Below is some information about free training provided by Council for community volunteers and community groups as well as a wide range of grants. If you are new to grant writing and would like some advice and support with applying for non-Council grants, the Council Coordinator, Jessica Adams, would be happy to provide some tips.
Did you know that Council has small grants open monthly for up to $1000? The small grants program was recently reviewed and a number of changes made to the program to extend its reach even further. For example, not for profit local groups can now apply for funding for small amounts of equipment (providing the application demonstrates how it meets the other criteria).
