It originated after Black Saturday 2009, when Andrew Chapman, one of our community-minded residents, took it upon himself to distribute information by email as soon as possible, to help people become aware of what was going on, in the chaotic aftermath of the fires. It has continued in the years since, and is an important contributor to keeping the community informed and connected. David Allan took over the editorial reins in May 2013 with Kathryn Carroll replacing David until March 2016.
The Grapevine now has a ‘live’ version with information constantly updated – as well as the weekly email newsletter.
