Celebrate the shortest weekend of the year at the Shortest Lunch – 24 & 25 June 2017
The Yarra Valley’s smaller winemakers invite you to join them for the Shortest Lunch Festival being held on 24 & 25 June 2017.
Take pleasure in the smaller things in a moving feast of entrée size meals and wine as we celebrate the winter solstice. It’s the perfect way to meander around the Yarra Valley’s boutique wineries and savour great food, wine and music, without the normal hustle and bustle.
We would love for you to come and support the wineries closest to us who are participating in this year’s Shortest Lunch festival; Steels Creek Estate and Miller’s Dixons Creek Estate. To take part in this progressive dining experience, simply pay $15 at the first winery you visit, where you will receive a souvenir tasting glass.
Tickets may be purchased in advance online at www.shortestlunch.com.au
Ticketing includes a discounted Early Bird ticket. This glass allows you to taste and enjoy the wines and food at all the participating wineries you visit each day. Menu options ranging from appetisers through to desserts are available for purchase from between $7.50 per item up to $18 per item.
Plan your day by visiting the Shortest Lunch website www.shortestlunch.com.au. You can also use the map of participating wineries to identify where to go over the two days of the festival. Family friendly and good fun, you can get to know the people behind the wines and get off the beaten winery trails, to discover some of the hidden treasures produced in the Yarra Valley.
