Queensland Fruit Fly in the Shire of Yarra Ranges: Survey

Queensland Fruit Fly in the Shire of Yarra Ranges: On-line survey

The University of Melbourne Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences have a couple of students conducting a survey on community knowledge and attitudes to Queensland Fruit Fly, in the Yarra Ranges Shire.

Please encourage everyone you know to participate in this survey. https://Q17064.surveys.qmr.com.au/cgi-bin/ciwweb.pl?studyname=17064&subsid=Y3333

The Yarra Valley Queensland Fruit Fly Taskforce would like you to complete a short on-line survey about your knowledge of, and attitudes towards, the Queensland Fruit Fly and the threat it poses to the horticulture industry and to home gardeners in the Shire of Yarra Ranges.

Students and staff from the University of Melbourne are conducting the survey, in association with the Yarra Valley Queensland Fruit Fly Taskforce, and with funding from the Box Hill Institute Biosecurity Centre of Excellence located in Lilydale.

There is more detailed information about the survey in the attached information statement.  The survey is completely anonymous, and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

You can access the survey here: https://Q17064.surveys.qmr.com.au/cgi-bin/ciwweb.pl?studyname=17064&subsid=Y3333

Your help is greatly appreciated, and will help the Fruit Fly Taskforce to understand the best ways to work with the Yarra Valley community to manage the threat posed by this serious pest.

Please also feel free to pass this information on to other local people and groups in the Yarra Ranges Shire.

Kind regards
