Expert speakers talking about strengthening community resilience and engaging others and ourselves with climate change.
Dr. Susie Burke is a specialist in speaking to children about climate change and coping strategies.
Associate Professor Lauren Rickards is a co-leader of the climate change and resilience research program at RMIT.
The event is taking place at Burrinja Cultural Centre in Upwey on the evening of Friday 9 August.
If there is enough interest expressed for a community bus to transport Yarra Valley residents to and from the event I will look into this as an option. Please let me know asap!
